From a young age, I was captivated by the power of storytelling through film. The ability to transport audiences to different worlds and evoke emotions is what drives my passion for creative storytelling. I am a film student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a strong desire to pursue a career in directing or dramatic writing. Through my work, I aim to create thought-provoking narratives that challenge perceptions and inspire others. I have been fortunate to work on various projects, honing my skills and expanding my creative vision. I am always seeking new opportunities to collaborate and bring stories to life. What I’ve Done
SCAD Rising Star Program
June 2023 - July 2023
As a student film director, I have participated in a career-oriented pre-college program, which has given me valuable insight into the filmmaking industry. Through this program, I was able to gain college credit hours to apply towards my degree as well as build projects for my portfolio. Additionally, I made many industry connections that will be beneficial as I continue to pursue a career in film.
Student-Run Television Network
August 2020 - Current
As a student film director, I have held a leadership position in a student-ran television program, where I was able to develop and sharpen my teamwork skills. I have also competed in national conventions, where I had to meet tight deadlines and produce high-quality content. My experience has taught me to be a responsible leader and I am confident in my ability to manage a team and coordinate projects.
National Technical Honor Society Member
August 2021 - Current
As a film student, I have been involved in a career-oriented organization for two years and am currently the President of the organization. Our organization empahsizes the importance of the film industry in society and helps the local community through various activities. During my two years of leadership, I have developed and implemented strategies to increase our organization's visibility and have connected with industry professionals to gain valuable insight and advice. I am passionate about the film industry and am dedicated to helping our local community and other film students succeed.
